PC Punch Clock is an application that brings the punch card system to the Employees Desktop.

Salient Features:

Built using .NET technology, it boasts of a user-friendly interface and a powerful backend using SQL 2000 Server.
Designed to integrate with the existing payroll system.
Uses the system registry to keep track of the current user and his activities.
Its ‘roaming’ feature allows the user to punch-IN at one machine and punch-OUT from another one.
Allows users to view the current IN /OUT status of all the users of the system.
Controls access to the system by only allowing valid users to Punch IN/OUT.
Provides secure login by encrypting the password before it is sent over the network to the central database.
Has a special feature that allows a user to manually add any ‘missed punches’ for the current day.
Has a feature that allows users to make leave requests and to also view current status of their leave requests.
Its timestamp logic is programmed to round off the Punch time based on shift rounding rule so the Administration can set a rounding interval that suits the company policy.
