Client: A Fast Growing Jewelry Manufacturer
The Work Order Manager is a custom designed Access database application for a growing jewelry manufacturing company. It is designed to handle and track inventory, work orders and payments.
All elements of the system such as the database, the forms, the reports, and the supporting modules that handle the business logic have been built using the tools offered by Microsoft’s Access 2003.
Salient Features:
- Search functionality based on various criteria such as customer, inventory or work-orders.
- Editable search results in a grid layout to allow easy modifications to data.
- Dynamic report generation based on user selection of customers/company/inventory source.
- Allows choosing the location of paper for label printing.
- Uses Security and Audit trials to keep track of application usage and customer activities.
