PC Punch Clock is an application that brings the punch card system to the Employees Desktop.

		Built using .NET technology, it boasts of a user-friendly interface and a powerful backend using SQL 2000 Server.

		Uses the system registry to keep track of the current user and his activities.

		Its 'roaming' feature allows the user to punch-IN at one machine and punch-OUT from another one.

		Provides secure login by encrypting the password before it is sent over the network to the central database.

		Has a special feature that allows a user to manually add any 'missed punches' for the current day.

		Its timestamp logic is programmed to round off the Punch time based on shift rounding rule so the Administration can set a rounding interval that suits the company policy.
